Our products

From simple clay to the most technical materials, we only use raw materials selected under strict specifications. In order to meet the requirements imposed by our industries, they are often combined with other synthetic ceramic compounds. The elaborated products are then delivered in dry state,

packaged in sacks or big bags with the help of installations that combine performance, flexibility, efficiency and well-being of the workers. These very high-quality products are divided into different categories depending on the processing method and bonding system used.

Category of dense concretes with hydraulic binding for standard consumption. They’re not very sensitive to external parameters that can influence consistency and setting. A calcium aluminate cement is combined with refractory aggregates and other raw materials adapted to varying applications, covering a wide range of service temperatures.
These concretes are for the most part featured in our BETONEC product range.

The use of low and ultra-low aluminous cement content has led to the emergence of high-performance technical concretes. Due to their very low water consumption and reduced porosity, they have replaced conventional range for more demanding applications where abrasion, corrosion and refractoriness are critical parameters. Mechanical resistance remains high along the entire temperature range and the combination of different materials makes it possible to achieve the targeted properties for various industrial sectors.
In a general way, casting / vibrating (VIBREC) or self-flowing (AUTEC) concretes require precise and professional processing.

After a stop maintenance, it costs time and energy to restart an installation. Cement-free concretes have a binding system that does not form a hydrate phase which requires a lot of energy to evacuate the aqueous phase. The water contained is mainly free and easily drained through the porosity once above 100°C.
These materials are designed for fast heat-up by preventing risks of explosion, as well as significant time and energy savings. The binding can be based on phosphates, silicates (sol-gel), geo-polymers as well as various hybrid combinations.
GELTEC, DAMEC and S-BOND are some of these products.

We provide refractory concretes specially designed for gunning (medium and low cement), shotcreeting and trowelling. From 20 to 95% alumina, they allow quick interventions on sites and don’t require any casing, with outputs up to 8 to 10 tons per hour for shotcreeting. Qualities provided: GUNEC, SHOTEC and REPEC.

One Refractories provides a wide range of insulating concretes from cryogenic temperatures to 1,700°C. These products play a major role in the energy-saving process as well as structural protection of the most demanding installations. They are selected based on the thermal conductivity required for each application. These very light concretes also provide an effective solution in case of weight constraints.

Depending on their density and insulating capacity, they are referred to as ISOLEC or SEMISOLEC, and can be applied by pouring, trowelling or spraying.

With the support of our professional partners, we can manufacture preshaped forms, from the simplest formats to the most complex. One Refractories is a service-oriented company that analyses all types of projects. We listen and adapt to the needs of our customers to develop our products and best meet their specific needs.

R&D

One Refractories has always focused its activity on the customers’ main concerns. Since our early days, One Refractories’s Research & Development department has been innovating in the field of monolithic refractory concretes and constantly adjusting its know-how to new technologies and other specific demands.
